Meritor Rebrand

Meritor is a company with a long history. But history doesn’t mean as much these days, and they wanted to stay relevant in a changing market. They came to us with the campaign line Run With The Bull, and asked to bring it to life for employees, customers and investors. The team and I did this, literally. Since winged bulls are few and far between, our first step was to breed one with CG.

 

We then built an integrated campaign around it that included print and digital ads, a manifesto, messaging platforms, logo updates and guidelines, and more.

We also updated their photography, elevating their products into objects of art that captured the strength and beauty of what they manufacture in a way that helps Meritor stand apart. This photography then went into new collateral, websites and product-specific print and digital ads to match the brand.  

The rebrand work launched with trade shows in Germany and the U.S., signage and displays at Meritor’s headquarters, and employee desk drops at offices worldwide. Oh, and a video that told the whole Meritor story.

The refresh marked the beginning of the company moving in a new direction, and helped shift opinions within the industry and financial performance with investors.
